Rehearse the exam your chamber really runs.
From your first German lesson to your Approbation: the 2026 rules of your state, German from A1 to B2, and AI simulations of your chamber's FSP and the new KP, part by part. In English, French, German and Arabic.
Create an account · Compare the 16 states · The 2026 rules
Built on the 2026 rules, and only on them.
The new recognition law makes the Kenntnisprüfung the usual route for doctors from outside the EU. Approbot launches on these rules, each with its source.
A whole library, ready on day one.
Every kind of practice you need, each written for the exam you will sit.
- 319 Simulation cases
- 165 KP topics in German
- 362 ECGs, X-rays, scans, photos and lab results
- 97 emergency drills, stage by stage
- 2,096 medical terms with audio and glosses
- 792 Redemittel for every phase
- 3,840 German exercises from A1 to B2
- 4,605 German words with forms and examples
A copilot for every stage of your road.
Pick a stage to see what you do there and what does it with you. All of it follows your state, your chamber, your country and your German.
- At home: Get ready before you fly. Know which documents you need, translated and certified, what the road will cost and the visa that fits. Find your German level in minutes.
- Application: Choose your state, then apply. Compare all 16 states on their own rules, then follow a roadmap made for your chamber, with every deadline on your calendar.
- German B2: Reach the B2 your state asks for. 80 units and 320 lessons from A1 to B2, an AI conversation partner, AI feedback on your writing and mock exams of the certificate your state accepts.
- FSP: Rehearse your chamber's FSP. Take the history from an AI patient, write it up, then present it to the Oberarzt, in your chamber's format and timing, with AI feedback on every part.
- KP: Pass the new Kenntnisprüfung. Examine the patient, write the report, present the case and answer the commission, part by part, as the 2026 format runs it.
- Approbation: Arrive at your Approbation. Walk into exam day knowing where you stand, and keep Approbot for your specialist training.
16 states. 17 chambers. One map that knows them all.
Where you apply decides the authority, the fees, the waits and the exact exam you sit. Pick a state and the country your degree is from: Approbot builds your simulation and your roadmap on exactly these rules.
Sit your exam before you sit your exam.
Speak with an AI patient, write the report on your chamber's own form, present the case to an AI Oberarzt or a commission of three, then get a report that scores you the way your chamber does.
FSP, the language exam
- A patient who answers like a patient: By voice, in everyday German. Facts come only when you ask, from a person with an age, a job, worries and moods.
- Your chamber's own form: Typed on a German keyboard or written by hand and photographed: Approbot reads it back and checks every section.
- An Oberarzt who asks why: Present your patient, ask for the findings, defend your diagnosis and finish the chamber's term task.
- Scored the way your chamber scores: 16 exam formats, each with its own pass rule: Berlin's 60 points, Hamburg's minus points, Rheinland-Pfalz's minimum per part, and the rest.
KP, the knowledge exam
- A patient to examine: Take the history, then examine: the virtual examination returns exactly the findings you ask for, within the real 20 minutes.
- The report, in 30 minutes: Write on the state's template, judged on structure and clarity like the real one, then countersigned.
- Five minutes to present: Present your patient to the commission against the clock, the way the day begins.
- A commission of three: A chair, an internist and a surgeon start from your patient and widen to 7 subjects, communication included.
Your whole road, in the right order.
Answer a few questions and Approbot lays out every step from your country to the Approbation, each with its date, its cost and its source. When a rule changes, your roadmap changes with it.
- A personal roadmap: Built in five minutes from your degree, your German, your state and where your application stands.
- Every deadline counted: The four-week review window, retake dates and your exam countdown, in your calendar.
- Documents from your country: Where to get each one, apostille or legalisation, translations and embassy appointments, for 7 launch countries.
- What it will cost: Courses, certificates, visa, blocked account, translations, exams and retakes, in euros and in your currency.
- Your visa route: Section 16d, the recognition partnership and the Opportunity Card now; the Blue Card after licensing.
- Reform Radar: Every rule change for your state and your country, dated and sourced, the day it is known.
- Letters to your authority: German emails for a status request, your preferred exam month or an extension, addressed to the right office.
- Document vault: Your documents encrypted in one place, with warnings before a certificate gets too old.
- For medical students: Credit transfer, study visas and lateral entry into a German faculty, explained with a checklist.
The German your exam needs, from where you are.
An adaptive placement test, 80 units from A1 to B2 with 320 lessons of short exercises and explanations in your language, an AI conversation partner and an AI writing coach, then timed mock exams for the certificate your state accepts.
- A placement test that adapts: It places you at A1, A2, B1 or B2 and sets a target date for your certificate.
- 80 units, 320 lessons: Every unit trains listening, reading, speaking and writing: twelve words with their forms and a sentence each, a grammar point, a note on life in Germany and four lessons of short exercises, 3,840 in all, on everyday, health and work topics, explained in Arabic, French or English.
- A conversation partner: Speak at your level with an AI partner that corrects you gently, any time of day.
- An AI writing coach: Letters, emails and essays in the certificate formats, scored on the four criteria with your common mistakes.
- 24 timed mock exams: Goethe, telc and ÖSD, all four skills, from A2 and B1 for the visa to B2 for the Approbation.
- Check before you book: Approbot warns you if your state does not accept the certificate you plan to take.
Ten minutes a day, where the exam is hardest.
Spaced repetition of 2,096 medical terms, your chamber's term task, numbers and spelling, and 792 Redemittel for every phase.
- 2,096 terms, with audio: Technical and lay German both ways, with audio and glosses, ordered by how often your chamber asks them.
- Your chamber's term task: Timed, exactly as asked: five terms, two abbreviations and three lab values in Berlin, twelve both ways in Niedersachsen, fifteen in Hamburg.
- Numbers and spelling: Doses, lab values with units, dates, phone numbers and spelled names, dictated until they are second nature.
- 792 Redemittel: Model phrases for every phase: the opening, each block of the history, explaining, closing and presenting.
An honest answer to: am I ready?
After three full simulations, Approbot projects your result under your chamber's pass rule, part by part, always with a range. Then it plans your days to the exam.
- A readiness score: Your chance of passing under your chamber's rule, with how sure the projection is.
- A plan to your exam date: Each day mixes simulations, vocabulary and your weak topics, counted back from your exam.
- Weaknesses, over time: Grammar, register, gaps in the history, numbers and reasoning, tracked so you see them shrink.
- An exam-day pack: What to bring, the timeline and your chamber's rules: your own pens in Hessen, punctuality in Hamburg.
- No promises we cannot keep: Where a chamber publishes no pass rule, the projection says it is an estimate. We never guarantee a pass.
Made for doctors on the move.
In your language, on your phone, with your data protected and every fact traceable to its source.
- 4 languages: English, French, German and Arabic, laid out right to left where it should be. Turkish is next.
- Light on data: Every simulation runs by text too, and the app is built to load fast on 3G.
- Honest about AI: Every AI patient, examiner and correction is marked as AI, and says so out loud when it speaks.
- Private by design: Your data stays in the EU, your voice is never recorded, and no cookie follows you around the web.
- Secure accounts: Email or Google sign-in, two-factor authentication and a list of your devices.

What doctors ask us
Who is Approbot for?
For doctors trained outside Germany who want to practise there: the language exam, the Kenntnisprüfung and everything in between. Modules for medical students follow.
When can I sign up?
At launch, once the whole library is ready. Until then the state comparator and the 2026 rules are free for everyone.
Do the new rules apply to me?
If your application is received from 1 November 2026, yes. If you filed before, the old rules may still apply to your file: Approbot shows the 2026 rules and reminds you to check with your authority.
Is the simulation like the real exam?
It follows your chamber's published format part by part: its timings, forms, examiners and pass rule. Where a chamber publishes no pass rule, the projection says it is an estimate.
Which languages can I use?
The interface is in English, French, German and Arabic. Exam practice is always in German, as on the day.
Do I need a good connection?
No. Every simulation also works by typing, and the app is built to load fast on a slow connection.
What happens to my voice?
It is turned into text so the AI can answer you, and the audio is never stored. Your data stays in the EU.
Is Approbot official?
No. Approbot is independent and not linked to any authority or chamber. Every fact links to its official source, and nothing on it is legal advice.
How much will it cost?
Prices are announced at launch, set for each country. The Start plan stays free, with one full FSP simulation.
