Accessibility statement

Our aim

Approbot should work for everyone. We build the website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and to the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG).

Compliance status

The website is partially compliant. A full WCAG 2.1 AA audit is still outstanding.

What we do

• All text and controls meet the contrast requirements, checked automatically.
• Everything works with the keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
• To screen readers and the keyboard, the map of the states is a list to choose from.
• Listening exercises and voice simulations have a text version, and every simulation can be typed.
• Arabic reads right to left; the website is in German, English, French and Arabic.
• If your system asks for reduced motion, the website shows no animations.

Known limitations

• The full audit is outstanding; some elements may still contain barriers.
• Captions for all audio follow with the recordings; until then there are text versions.
